This is your number 1 'Mech from the thread before? If so, I heartily endorse it on firepower, and the fact that it is a Champion, which is a very good 'Mech design. On the other paw, that XL is a problem if you get caught.

Why an AC/2? Demoralization?

I needed some reason to justify why the mech had no lower arms.

I moved the AC/10 from the right torso to the right arm, but I needed something for the left arm.

I decided to go with the AC/2 as it would be another autocannon yet would give the mech some range.

For range you could have gone with an LRM or MRM...

Older variants worked with large pulse lasers for backup, otherwise a PPC would be fine.
