Kept the heavy hitting ranged weapons but moved them to the right torso to give that throwing of the spear feel. Added a Sword, arm and hand actuators, and TSM for that vicious in close combat. Used DHS, Light Fusion, and removed a ton of armor to add CASE, 4 ER ML, and 2 SL. The 4 ERMLs can be used close in to augment the Sword, and the 2 SL allow you to easily keep your mech at the magic number 9. Fire your ranged weapons, 2 ER ML, and walk... you are now set to go crazy.

Set these up in skirmish/strike lances of 4 and you got some nice ground covered.[/code]

So when does this make it's Solaris Arena Debut? And which units of the WOB will be fielding these since they would have bought the first production run?

LOL. I take it you like it... kinda. lol. Ya, a Solaris Debut while kinda cliche for BT would be a perfect introduction for this design. As for WOB, dunno on that one. 3066 sounds good.

I like it, and I do think it would be right at home on Solaris 7.

I wonder how a Hatchetman or a Axman would fair against this one...hmmm...

Yup, the 'Mech is pretty good. Slower speed doesn't hurt it that much, because it has powerful long range weapons and if the enemy gets closer then you just keep beating them. Nice...

I like this. Though I would like a SRM4 or 6, but that is me. I also think for some reason it needs jump jets. There is just some thing about the spartan designation that says not only can I kick your ass handily, but I can be sneaky and jump behind you so you dont even have to turn around.

Well engineered and mostly kept the the theme. Just does not excite me very much.
