I am, in the Mecklenburg County area of North Carolina. I see several players registered from the state, but have no clue who is where. Are there any players in or close to this area who would be interested in getting to gether foor a game or so? 3025 tech _________________ one by one the rabbits are stealing my sanity....

Go to the Official site, then go over to the Commando site. From there email cull through the players list to find local players. Then email each one INDIVIDUALLY!!! If you mass email it may get blocked and people have a tendency to ignore them.
I just did that same exercise in Detroit about 4 months back. Out of 35, about 5 dead emails, 25 no responses, a few wanted but could not play or did not match my style. In the end I added 3 new players and had to refuse 3 others due to a full campaign.
Also look for the local firebase at the Commando site. Then see when they run games and go from there.

Sadly no. It would seems anyone who plays in my area has no access to the internet. _________________ one by one the rabbits are stealing my sanity....
