Never, never, NEVER, format one of your hard drive without making a backup copy on CD first.
I thought it was fairly safe to format one of my drives, the one that I had Windows on, after all, I figured out I had only to move a couple of folders to the other drive.
Wrong.
I lost all my bookmarks, ICQ address and my whole mailbox, meessages,address...everything.
That was stupidity.
And it's very easy to miss something. I lost my complete website folder. I could download back most of it, but I lost a good deal of stuff.
That was plain incompetence.
Thinking about killingmyself now.

It`s the kind of thing that happens. Don`t
be sad, think of it as an opportunity. Now
you can look for all those nice websites
again and leave out the ones that sucked.
Spring cleaning.

I feel your pain. I just got hit with a Worm. Lost all Doc's, Txt's and half my MP3's

Something like that won't happen too often to me...
I ordered a 120GB hard Drive and an 80GB USB HarDrive...
My PCs are all ready for scrweing up... I have backups of backups of backups.
I found a great website for ordering inexpensive Computer Hardware & Software...
