How would you handle it if a female PC or NPC became pregnant during the course of a campaign?
I came across this while attempting to flesh out an NPC. She and her husband spent most of their 20s in college / training, so they're only just now looking at having kids. Depending upon how things work out, she could be preggers during the course of the campaign.

Well, they'd be pregnant...it's not a mystery as to what happens.

I'm talking about things like whether or not their attributes and traits should be temporarily adjusted to compensate. And if so, which ones and by how much?

Other things to consider are, what happens to the pregnant women in the middle of a barroom brawl? When she takes a kick or punch to the midriff or ribs? Or who gets bounced around a mech cockpit during physical combat with another mech? Or takes a head hit and has to make a roll to stay conscious after the physical battering? Or how about how hot that cockpit gets? Giving yourself what is essentialy a high fever for a while there in the battle could not a good thing when pregnent.
Keeping the pregnant character in the thick of the action while at the same time keeping the baby alive and undeformed and undainbramaged from damage to the mother could be dicey indeed.
And as soon as she starts to show... that body armor just won't fit on her anymore.
