I am in search of 4 players who can meet these basic requirements:
1. Able to play Megamek multi-player with 4-8 units on each side.
2. Willing to Beta test a campaign idea i have drafted.
3. Can E-mail attachments in English.
4. Is able to be on-line at sometime when others are on-line.
5. Is able to dedicate time to this project.
6. Is willing to have fun.
I have the Rules completely typed up including all the tables needed to play.
The Basic idea is that 4 players will be competing on a board with 12 to 20 planets in which they control a faction, its forces, and its resources. The players will take turns attacking one another until one player has captured every planet or all the players have run out of resources. Most battles will be between just the attacker and the defender; however, the other two players can participate to aid one another, so it is possible to have all four players in a battle. The battles will be done via Megamek and the results will be sent to me.
Anyone who is interested should reply to this post so that I can organize the first game. Not everyone who respond will be selected if more than four people respond. Despite this, I encourage everyone whose interested to respond.
EDIT: Anyone who is interested, please post your time zone vs GMT and general times avalible in your time zone.

I'll jump in dependong on play times, I work evenings during the week.... but I'm game pretty much all weekend long.

I would like to but i fear the time difference will stop me from joining. With me living in England the only solution would be for you guys to be online in the afternoon or for me to stay up really late, neither i would guess is ideal.

Who knows atm. Some of the losers on this board... err did i say losers,  , i meant life impaired are up pretty late.
I guess everyone should post their time zone from GMT and hours available. I'd like to handle a game per week or every two weeks.

I am very interested I am in the Pacific time zone. Wed Thurs Off, and with the upcomming slow period at work should be able to meet most times. (but will have to clear it with the ol' battleax... er Wife.)

Well i am now finished for christmas!!! so im not at university and my work is slow until after christmas so i haven't got to go in ( again!) So this next week especially i am free to do some meching!

I should have a ruff draft web page up in the next day or so. The major coding is done, I just have to alter the original code of the original part of the site to counter link.
As I said, I have the Rules typed up and they will be posted in two formats when the site is up: web format and RTF download. Present version is 1.0.
A warning for anyone interested. This will be a campaign in every sense of the word. You will be dedicating 6 or more months of time to this project. And this is based on one turn being done a week, which I doubt in all honesty do to experience with any on-line game will be done.
I am not trying to scare people, I just want to prepare people for what is ahead.
Also, i will still be accepting admission requests AFTER the start of the game encase I need someone to take over somebodies faction if RL rears its head.

I'm be interesed. I probally won't have acess to a computer from the Dec 23rd to Jan. 1st (Travel), but other than that, time differences may be a pain in the ass. I live on the east coast...
Im availible pretty much all weekend, and on weekdays past 1800 hours according to Eastern Standard Time.

Go here to see it and find the rules for the Campaign. As this is only a preliminary setup, a fair portion of certain sections still have the text from the original site that gave me the idea.

I can play on the weekends for the most part the weekdays are very spotty.

I plan on finalizing the player entries by Friday. I seem to have gotten enough people with similar enough times available. I am still, however, accepting join requests.
Thus far my list is:

I will likely choose 4 to be primary players with the rest being backup players. I would like about 2 or 3 more to select from though.
Oh. as a bonus to those who may not get chosen, I may start a second scenario within a few weeks of the first if the game goes smooth enough to allow two games. I just wanted to give a heads up.

Yeah, just as an FYI, I'm in EST also. And as I said before I'm available mostly on the weekends cause I work from 3:30pm EST to anywhere between 11:30pm and 1:30am. Other than those (plus hour travel time each way, which is bloated to account for weather), and the few times I actually go elsewhere I'm available.
I'm off work after tommarrow till the 2nd, though I may go in on the 28th to help with inventory and get paid under the table
