we have to design systems that can fulfill both roles...for example, a tubing system that can either pump liquid nitrogen to to your coolent vest, or beer to your neurohelmet. The medkit should also have both medical value and "entertainment" value. The La-Z-boi command couch isn't only comfortable, it's an excellent shock absorber. And the keg of beer is useful for "negotiating" with the enemy as well...if you're cut off and the enemy is about to cut your 'mech down, broadcast that you're carrying a ton of beer...the enemy won't want to waste all of that beer if they have any decency in them at all.

TC should have connections for gaming consoles.
Sat uplink can be used to catch ANY available TV or radio you want.

Why not have the beer double as mechwarrior coolant? That will spare us some pipes and tanks and net us room for something else, like more beer.

Have a back-up system based on laser comm sytems. ECM can't block it. You'll need LOS to you comm target though.
