Check out 2 old movies. RobotJox and Robot Wars. They are B movies but they are neat to watch. In Robot Jox you see one with tracks as a backup movement type.

All I've heard is rumors about people wondering if there's going to be a BTech movie. I just don't see it happening. There's a lot of money that goes into making movies, and there's so much about BattleTech to tell. And of course, nowadays any movie would almost certainly be in the Dork Age timeline, which not everyone will be pleased with. But why not the Davion Civil War instead? Or the War of Davion Succession? Or the fall of the Star League? Or the First Succession War? Or the Second or the Fourth Wars? Or the War of 3039? Or the Clan Invasion? Or...? You see? Too much for a movie. And personally, I prefer to keep the images in my head. The movies never get it right.

Ummm......Good news and Bad news.Good news is they ARE making a Mechwarrior movie.they started making it last year.Bad news is it is in the Dark Age world. heres the link for it...go to it and scroll down and click Movie Article
