OK, simple one, out of all of the physical attacks, which do you most like, taking into accout ease of use, damage, style and overall usefulness.

Personally my favorite all round physical attack is a charge, I managed to charge a Dervish with a Zeus, completely annihilated it! Charges can be pretty sweet, i have also for fun charged an Atlas with a Locust! And the Locust came off worse! And to add insult to injury its leg was promptly kicked off! Fun though.

I also like the sword, which personally i believe should be the weapon of the Hatamoto Chi, if the mech is the symbol of the Draconis Combine, whose warriors follow the samuari code. A sword is also more elegant than a hatchet.

The Push, many a game has been won by shoving a mech off the board or into a lake, or off a building. Yeah I get kicked but trading in Assasins and Stingers for Vultures and Archers works in my book any day.

Hatchets and kicks are the only physical attacks I have found to be useful. Charges are too risky for my style of play, and death from above is a joke (unless your name is Talen and you're doing against me . . . bah!!!).

Kicks or punches, it all depends on the situation. A kick can remove a leg, but two punches is two chances at a head hit with the 1d6... If I have a 60+ tonner with activated TSM I always punch.

Personally I like the boot to the head attack; kicking a 'mech from one level above. I love the look on my opponent's face when he realizes that kick will be rolled on the punch location table.

I always kick, even with TSM (by the way, TSM is an example of something that was incredibly munchy when added), unless the guy has positioned himself in a real bad spot and a push can hurt him badly.

Managed to kill Nathan with a push in the second turn of one of Darryl's battles with a push.

Definitely a kick, a punch, then a slap. Watch your opponent's face when you announce that your mech slaps the target mech. Watch the indignant rage explode!

TSM/Mace. I one a couple occasions have had pristine assults run up to me (using the legionaire I posted 95 ton assult) and get completely caved in, in one round. 80 points is damage no unit can take. And its even better when they dont bother to follow up on the Mace rules till the damage has been delt. Nothin like watching a charger or marauder disappear in one hit.

Thats evil, but I also like the TSM/hatchet, TSM/mace combos. Obviously the hatchet is for pre-mace time frames.

Ditto for me. I have won many a game, or at the very least, spared many a machine through a timely push. I love the look on people's face when they realize how stupid standing next to the map edge was... And I have never gotten the domino effect working myself.

Kick in a regular mech.

a mech with TSM = kick or punch depending on my goal

A mech with TSM and a weapon= punch

Shake and bake is probably the fanciest, and the coolest invented so far.

Gotta go with Rarich here. That's exactly my philosophy. Usually I kick, but a TSM 'Mech may kick or punch depending on my goal. I'm not too fond of physical weapons myself, but if a 'Mech has one, I use it - especially with TSM. I rarely even consider pushes or charges. I prefer weapons fire.

Mine are the Mace and the Boot to the Head... TSM is optional...

I usually punch first becuase of the 1 in 6 chance of getting a head shot, but if I have fired both arm weapons, then kicking is fun.
I am also partial to the tsm + weapon attack. I have one 95 ton mech with TSM and a sword that is fun to use. It has a tendency to take off whole body parts.
