The Crossbow Prime was designed as a long range support mech. with configurations armed with medium and short range weapons.
It was first seen at the battle of Firebase Climax. Steel Viper used the mech to whittle down the Smoke Jaguars forces from a distance. Then followed up with the Configs A and B riged for close enfighting. The Smoke Jaguars conceded after only an hour of combat.
The C class is the latest to be produced in this line. and is armed with the newest weapons. Taking their cues from the successful A class. The designers used the ATMs for their long range ablites. And the heavy lasers for a short range punch. When Couple togther. It makes this a dangerous close combat mech. As well a long range support.

I do not have the upgrade to my HMP yet. But yes they are alot alike. I guess I will have to change the name to Crossbow D

Your's has the bigger ATMs...which I think would be the telling difference in a battle between the two...
