Try putting a Painful Choice. or a Tribute to the Doom. even a Magic Jammer. any card that requries you to discard from your hand.
Then add a Thunder Dragon to your deck. lvl 5/ light/atk 1600-def 1500 / effect.
discard card this card from your hand to add two Thunder Dragons from you deck to your hand.
It should making it alot easier to get one in there
BTW: Thunder Dragon is a common from the Magic Ruler set

And you also use two Thunder Dragons together to get a fusion dragon (I forget the name at the moment, and don't feel like looking it up)...this is pretty much the easiest fusion monster to get on the field, unless you're using metamorphosis or magical scientist...

Every time I get my Powerful monsters on the field, my boy plays a card to kill off all of the monsters on the field, or my side or that particular monster.

Sounds like what I did to a friend when he played Great Maju Garzett by sacrifcing my Blue Eyes White Dragon for it...

He seems to do it every time we play..... I'll have to find away to remove a few of his Magic and Trap cards.... Maybe put Jinzo out there....

Jinzo would take care of some of my good cards, but I only have 14 or 16 trap cards in my 100 card deck...

yesh, My biggest is only 65. and that's with a 15 side deck.
do you have a theme. or just a bunch of cards put together to blow the other guy away?

I had 104 in my first deck. I pared it down to 84. My son and I dueled this weekend and we split two. The first, I shuffled myself into no monsters in the first 17 cards..... needs to say I lost that one.
The second We battled back and forth when it was done I had wiped out all but 7 cards. I used recycle to to return my non monster cards to my deck..

I might have to put together a Dragon and a Zombie deck...I have a lot of nice cards of both, and just picked up a Fusioh Richie out of a pack of Pharoanic Guardian (I also got a secret rare version of the Lava Golem too)...

You what really works well with Zombies. The Gravekeepers and Necrovally, You would think they wouldn't, since Necro locks up the graveyard. But it does.
Here's a tip for you. Put in some Pyramid Turtles. (Which are zombies) when you get one on the field. attack. especailly if the opponets monster is stronger. You will take damage. But you can get a much stronger monster out and (since it was a special summons) you can still attack.
