*The day following the end of the rubbeband fighter ended (whenever that is)Slythis walks in, looking less physically and more psycologicly exhasted, and sits down at the bar. Then presses his head against the cool surface of the counter, this odd site causes many in the bar to turn towards him*
Why do bad things happen to good people?
*He picks up his head and looks around the room a the silent patrons*
"My girlfriend tried to kill herself last night... she ODed on Asprin, shes gonna be ok, but I'm not sure I am. A very close friend of hers has been spreading rumors about her, that and her parents have been fighting bitterly and blaming it all on her... shes in the hospital but because of the weather I can't go see her.... sorry, I'm unloading on all you people again..."

support man, support.
everything that happens has a pourpose, and will have posative effects sometime, somewhere.
my mother approaching 3 years this november killed herself, while i was there. then months after my life changed in ways that no one should suffer. then months after that both my grandma and grandpa die with in months of each other.
now this would drive some to insanity, but thru the grace of my god and shear determination i have persivered. now why i tell you this is so you know where i'm comming from.
i'm on the verge of walking again, my schooling is being paid for, i have a wonderfull women who has been here for me, and my beleaf in gods will is stronger then any other time in my life. i've been stripped down to who i really am, and that knowledge has lead me to become a counsilor/pastor.
so where some see nothing but pain. i see a journy of discover.
as my signitur says:
one must work hard to cultivated the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.
or in other words, only thru adversity is our body and soul perfected, and we must always strive to perfect our souls.
so keep faith, and keep hope. because she needs you know, more then ever. god bless and best wishes.

We've all vented here, it's one of the best things about it. It allows us to vent, rant, rave, scream, yell, cuss, (well we try to keep that to a minimum  ) whine, bitch, complain, moan, groan and relieve ourselves of the burden of pain and loss. (Thanks to Mordel)
Never worry yourself about it here, we'll listen...
My Condolences to you and her freinds and family....
While I've never had one succeed, my dad's tried. Drinking a Gallon of Vodka and a Fith of rum in one sitting, without eating, after an 18 hr workday and having Diabetes. We've all had tragadies to live through. What doesn't kill us, make us stronger. Take it from Vagabond, he's one of the strongest people I know...

Thanks guys. I'm probly going to go see here in a few hours... but ofcourse once I get there I'm not going to want to leave her. understand that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, it's a truth I live by. It's a lesson I was a bit slow to learn, I spent the first 5 years of my life fairly bed ridden, and later when I was 13 I tried to kill myself, this continued until last summer. My girlfriend became a reason for me to live, she was VERY depressed when I first met her and was trying to kill herself on a weekly basis, I asked her out and she stopped until last sunday night. I'm hoping that since she did this she'll get the help she needs, I'm no proffesional It's just that I rely as much on her as she does on me.

My prayers are with both you, and her as well as your families. I'm alwys willing to "sit down" and listem. Only other adivce I can add that hasn;t been mentioned before, is "Don't dwellon the negatives, but instead, FOCUS on the Positives!"

I just got back, shes in the psyc ward and we had to fight just to see her. She could come home as early as tomarrow, or they may send her to live with her Dad, wich means I may never see her again. The problem won't be with her, if it all depended on her behavior she'd be out tommarow, but because of her parents I'll most likly keep her there for a couple weeks, in iso...

Now They aren't gonna even let me talk to her until ATLEAST saturday. It's like they don't care/realize that this is going to drive me of the freaking deep end... I can't concentrate, I can't eat, and I can't sleep, and I'm sick of this BS!! I want to see her... and I'm not going anywhere or doing anything until they let me talk to her.
