As has been tradition on December 23rd, I am honored to post Mordel's Season Greetings statement.

"Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

We also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2003, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "America" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual preference of the wishee.

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms:

This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

Yours neutrally,

Mordel Blacknight"

NO! NO! NO! NO!

Mordel's generous holiday greeting shouldn't be interpreted in any manner that would exclude anyone that doesn't celebrate any or all of the holidays that may fall in the near future.

In other words (Chihawks) the holiday message is meant to appeal to evreyone, without favouring any particular group whatsoever?

Regardless:

Merry (Insert Holiday Here) and a Happy New Year to evreyone!!!!!

I think this is one of the most PC messages I have ever read...

What is this world coming to?

Anyways...here's wishing a Merry Christmas to all of you too...

Now, when will I find the time to finish writing my fanfic, paint my minis (and put together these last two P-Hawks (well, one is partially assembled now) and 1 T-Bolt, as well as some Kage BA), watch my DVDs I'm getting for Christmas, as well as read Sun-Tzu's Art of War and Guderian's Panzer Leader, which I just bought for myself today, and yet still manage to keep up with some other tv shows and have a bit of a social life?

*sigh*

Why can't there be more hours in the day, and more days in the week, and myself with more time off?

Hey they are celebrating Christmas even in China so it IS a universal holiday.

Happy Holidays, and Best wishes for a safe and Happy New Year. Everyone. I hope that is a suitable and acceptable summation of the greeting, and is my wish for everyone.

I know I'm late... seems to be happening more in my advanced years!

Anyhooo, Merry X-mas and a Happy New Year, unless of course you're Chinese and have to wait until February!
