I like this urban legend 
Of the 4 Mechs i prefer the Marauder.
But as i dont like the Clans and the Marauder is one of the UNSEEN Mechs, i would have to vote for the Atlas

P.S.: My personal favorite is the Rattlesnake variant of the Jenner from BattleTechnology #21, followed by a customized Stiletto.

Actually...the Computer went through the two, but someone named it MAD CAT based on what the Computers were doing....so its actually both!

C'mon fellas, you must be kidding. The Warhammer *IS* Battletech, have you all lost the covers of your boxed sets?
What it makes it a killer in looks is lots of visible weaponry, non-humanoid aspect, asymetrical (nice touch), and that general look of a tank in legs.

I think the Warhammer is the mech of battletech, but I think the Timberwolf/Mad Cat is the mech for the computer games. I also beleive it was Precender Martial Anistasha Focht (I probably killed his name) that Named the Timberwolf the Mad Cat after viewing the battlerom transmited by Phelan Kell when he was captured by clan wolf in the periphery .Focht named the Timberwolf Mad from the arms that were very similar to the Marader's and the torso that was similar to the Catapult.

And thus is the reason I love the Nova Cat OmniMech and Inner Sphere 'Mechs like the Sagittaire and such.
Oh and speaking of a Warhammer, later on I will be putting up on the site the new WHM-9D Warhammer. I think you'll like this bad boy!

named by Anastasius Focht, i belive.
since the BDA comp didn't recognise the design.
it tried to match up the closest mechs with similar designs and stats.
the catpult (CAT) and the marauder(Mad)
and then the madcat was born.
all this crap in my head in 3 short years.
