After closing time one day chihawk found himself doing what he does nearly every early morning--drinking coffee and counting the day's reciepts. He places the money and reciepts into the lockbag and walks into Mordel's office, locking the bag in the safe.
Chihawk walks back out into the B&G, pours himself another cup of coffee and turns on the 24-hour news channel. After a few minutes the private com-link behind the bar chimes. Chihawk looks at his watch and lets the com-link chime a few more times before going over to answer it.
"Yeah", he says.
The voice on the other end sounds tired, "Its all set, sir. Everything is back exactly the way it was before. Wasn't easy, a lot of that stuff...."
"OK, thanks", chihawk said as he quickly ended the link.
Chihawk then made a call from the link, and spoke only 4 words to the person that answered "We're ready to begin".
Chihawk then turns off the TV, grabbing his cup of coffee. As he locks the door and sets the alarm system he can only smile as he thinks to himself....
Operation Sole Survivor had begun!!!

Talen was furious, that was easy to see. For the firts time in so many months, he actually showed emotion, and it wasnt happy. He picked up his lap top, turned it around and examined the hardwire connections, then cursed some more. He sat back down, looking at diagnostic screens.
"...everything is working fine, but I am not connected anymore. Agh, whats this all about?"
Talen glared at Raven, who shrugged, and then over at a few others around the bar. Talen discovered nothing. He searched around in the logs and discovered right before his connection was severed there was an outgoing transmission from Chihawk's personal phone. Talen tried accessing the audio and high band transmission waves, but each action brought him warnings of a critical failure. Talen abandoned both searches, and then unplugged his link to the B&G. Talen's world faded back to the normal perspective of only the 5 basic senses...
"Now to find out whats going on..." Talen got up and walked over to the bar. "So...Chihawk. Whats new...?

Yeah, its only open 23 hours a day.
MOrdel didn't qualify for a 24 hour permit.

Yeah, he's a family man. That disqualifies you from a 24 hour permit. Even the permit people have a little heart...That or it's the law here. Must spend at least 1 hr with the family....

Just cause Mordel is gone for an hour does not require the BnG to close, quiaff?
I was under the impression that the only time this facility was closed was for renovation and even then you can usually get something to wash the dust down.

I too have a really bad feeling about this. How do we really know that this is really the true Chihawk or that everythnig is kosher? Best be prepared for the worst.
