Looks like a combination of a heavy hit+run raider with a sniper job. Either way, not exactly how Clanners think. (were it not for the jump jets, it could be passed off as a front-line assault-type mech.)

Interesting comments. The Stone Dog has been used about 6 times if IRCC. And it was more of get in and dish out the damage and then fall back.
Hey this was like my fifth or so attempt at the time at making a Clan mech...

Actully, I think Clan Fire Mandrill would be very interested in this mech. It fits their attack patterns.
A few mechs get in. Deal some damage. And gets out. And the next wave comes in. does the same. Then the first repeats the pattern. Not very clanlike. But then. nethier are the Fire Mandrills
