==Overview:==
Designed by Clan Wolf, the Quandro Ryu is a truely viscious machine. T
marvels of technology are given to only the truely elite of bloodnamed
warriors. Costing twice as much as standard omni's this little terror is ea
the single most expensive battlemech to see production.
==Capabilities:==
With a price tag of 26 million this mech is truely expensive. But as t
clans have shown, greatness is rewarded. That is why 10 of these dream mach
are presently in action. Rewarded to the top ten warriors, these machines h
become a symbol. It is very good that only there best pilot these mechs or
wolf would quickly run its production into the ground.
Mounting a prototype XXL engine the Quandro Ryu can attain sppeds onl
before seen in the Firemoth. Coupled to this are new type of jump jets whic
can send the mech sorring 300 meters. Only a hand full of mechs have ever
attempted and succeded at this feat of engineering. As you may imagine this
requires a great deal of balance control, which is provided by a prototype
gyro.
The internal structure is molded from honey combed endo-steel alloys,
a high tensel ferro-fiberous plating for the external shell. These combined
equal a extremely light yet durable frame. If it were not for this 5 tons o
armor plating the delicate and expensive prototype componets would be reduc
to melted slags of scrap metal. Every step has been taken to insure the
lightest, strongest, mech chassie possible.
The Offensive weapons were carefully considered. Needing them to be bo
light yet powerfull, accurate but reliable. For this 6 type II micro pulse
lasers were choosen, with 3 in each arm. While main opponets will argue tha
there range is to limited to be effective, the Quandro Ryu's manuverability
will almost always insure the perfect range. These coupled with an advanced
targeting and tracking computer allows for shots that will almost allways h
To add to this a pair of twin shoulder mounted Streak SRM 4's were
designed into the frame. These advancements in missile technology insure th
every shot taken will be a hit. And will exact the optimum amount of punish
from the system. All this is coupled into a heat sink system that keeps the
Quandro Ryu cool under almost ever situation.
All this is added to an already exceptional pilot, turning an elite pi
into a nightmare from beyond this plain. Able to hunt down mechs twice its
size, and bring them to there knees.
==Variants:==
Two variations exist from this base design.
One variantion is the removal of the streak srm's in favor of standard
srm's and a pair of machine guns with ammo.
The second exchanges the more accurate micro pulse laser for er small
lasers. This decreases accuracy, but increases damage and range.
One pilot has requested both variations for his mech.
==Deployment==
Right know this binary of mechs serves directly under Khan Vlad Ward
himself. Thou not piloting one of these mechs himself, prefearing a Timberw
he has made sure this unit is well supplied and crewed with the best pilots
[after annalysis its determined that all the pilots are finatic crusaders]

Nitpick: This would be a better as a Jade Turkey...er, Falcon mech. Like the Pinion which used Micro pulsers after the Falcons gave up on the protomech projects.
