PACbuster Drone VTOL
Overview: The PACbuster was designed to shoot and kill rich individuals that the Star League Military Leaders believe have too much financial authority.
Capabilities: The PACbuster Drone VTOL can, using its 25 I.C.E. engine and jet boosters, move at an overspeed of 405 kilometers per hour making it very fast. It is designed to be an expendable drone. Its chin turreted Inner Sphere light machine gun can shoot a person repeatedly if signaled to by its controlling person. If the PACbuster flies into the effect radius/radii of opposing ECM(s) then it can, due to its program, return to its controlling person's last known position within 60 meters. It has a C3 Slave to make ranged attacks for other units in its network easier, and it has an Inner Sphere targeting computer that enables the Light machine gun to train onto any target in range provided that PACbuster has LOS to said target and/or a location of said target, or rich person. The PACbuster's internal structure and rotors are each made from composite materials that enables the PACbuster to mount more ammo, though the armor on the PACbuster, to stop barrages of small arms shots, is minimal to provide for the ammo. if necessary, the PACbuster can fly to a target and can detonate all its ammo to explode to damage that target.

Certainly not the subtlest thing in the Inner Sphere. A sniper could do this just as easily.
I'm not going to get in the custom equipment you are using again, but VTOLs use standard hexes, so 5 hex movement of Atlas translates to 54 Km/h, so on overdrive you'd move 405 Km/h, not 4050 (that's what the Mega- prefix means. You've probably miscalculated this).
In addition there are far more efficient ways to deal with a peaople you don't like for a state than killing. First your anti-monopol office, ministries, courts and secret services must have failed on multiple occasions when this person rose to power. You've also completely forgotten about far less obvious methods like blackmail or "accident", so unless you don't want to leave a message that you can hit ehomever you want... Still there's no message like sending an Atlas gorilla if you want to make show of power.
That all is provided that your state wants to get THIS heavy-handed in economics.

okay, i recalculated component tonnages so they're more exact. yeah, i did miscalculate top overdrive speed, let's see now:
37.5 max overdrive speed of 37.5 hexes in 10 seconds
*30 meters per hex
*6 for 10 second turns per minute
*60 minutes per hour =
405 km/hr
i'm not taking credit for this design; that credit goes to the Second Star Leauge top military officers.
