Why is there so frustratingly little available on the super secret assassins/spy's in the combine? I have been to Sarna and done a google search. but there is so little information. anyone have a link or other information that I may be able to read over?

Its likely one of those story elements that they quietly disappeared after the first 12 books. Maybe, they felt they were to powerful or capable.

You've answered your own question - they are super secret, thus there's very little info!

roflol.

I understand your point, but given this is a game it does frustrate me some when they are ambiguous about aspects. I'm not saying i need every detail, but enough to utilize them correctly in a game.

Who the hell is the GM in here? Of course you are using them correctly! Your game, your story. If your Hasek-Davion covertly cooperates with Kurita on some project to keep ComStar meddling in check and happens to be completely honest, cooperative aggreeable and a good ally in general, then it simply happens. He might have his reasons after all.

I wouldn't be THAT concerned about the lack of info. Sometimes it just helps to support the story Wink

You see, i am a GM that likes to be faithful to established canon.

DING, DING, DING. And Vagabond is correct. they are actually part of the established cannon already. it would be nice to be able to use them in the way they have been intended, and since Iam fleshing out a new story idea, I was hoping to use them, but use them in a way that makes them feel like part of the universe, and not taking them to a level they shouldnt be taken to.

They only thing I hate more than crazy additions or changes that dont make sence, is sudden unexplained delations. and the dissapearance / omission of the Nekakami is unexplained.

When there is no canon, then it's your story. When there is some canon, You have to explain why the things are as they are.

There is a bit about them in the novels, especially Operation Bulldog. Beyond that, neko = cat in Japanese. Kami = spirit.

I'd just think "space ninjas" and go from there.

I seem to recall one of the newer Historical books on the Star League mentioning these mystery guys or at least it was a hint that I took to reference them...I will see if i can get a page number.
