I never did like the fact that a single pulse laser was treated as a massive weapon while an actual large laser was handled like a small laser. If anything, one would want the larger energy weapon in the arm that can rotate so as to increase tactical flexibility.

Some poking and prodding later, we have this guy.

Previously, the Shootist was an up-close brawler with just a token ER Large Laser for ranged offense. Now, it's got an ER PPC, increasing both range and firepower. Switching to the RAC helped matters as well, especially since it freed up some tonnage to help with the aforementioned upgrade. And going to Endo instead of Ferro allowed near-maximum armor, a much larger assortment of lasers (four mediums and two smalls vs. two medium pulse and one small pulse), and an anti-infantry machine gun.

And all of this still somehow left me with just enough in the way of crit spots for TSM.
