==Overview:==
A comparitively small-time player in the realm of vehicle manufacturing,
Hendrickson has had a feud with Simmons for some time. As such, when Simmons
announced plans for the R137, Hendrickson immediately went to work on their
own conventional fighter.

==Capabilities:==
Whereas the R137 was meant for directly suppressing bandits and rebels, the
N27 attempts to fulfill a far different role: that of interceptor. With a top
speed nearly 50% greater than that of the R137, the N27 can rapidly close with
targets and prepare to engage them. This makes the N27 effective at breaking
up formations and staging ambushes. 

The trade-off, however, comes in the form of firepower: while the R137 boasts
twin machine guns and an SRM 2, the N27 only boasts a single machine gun and
an RL 10. While this arrangement may be effective at shooting down VTOLs and
other conventional fighters, it is generally going to be insufficient against
ground-based targets and even light aerofighters. 

The recommendation has been made that the N27 and the R137 be deployed in
concert with each other in order to conceal their respective flaws while
complimenting their respective strengths, but Hendrickson has publicly
disavowed such talk.
