Well, Today my sisters and I held my Father's memorial service. Many people attended for which I was happy. My Father passed away November 22nd in our home do to heart failure in his sleep. I have not posted this until now for many reasons, but i felt now was a good time. He will be missed.
In other news, I now face a legal battle of unknown difficulty in order to maintain my house and place of residence. My father owed money in a home equity loan but his will leaves the house in my older sisters name. She is going to do everything she can to insure I keep my house. Hopefully with the market as crappy as it is we will not need to sell the house to pay the loan off.
And finally, I get to due all of this while my last 3 weeks of the semester are in full swing. Finals are next week.

I am very sorry to hear that, Vagabond.
I hope that you can sort all of these things out as they come - in good order. And that you can grieve you can then grieve as you want to...
My prayers are with you - there has been a high share of bad news here, lately, and it just seems to get worse and worse.
You are usually one of the first to offer their virtual ear - and that, of course, works both ways. But you know that.
