Oh, I meant the thing about not reaching your daughter on her b-day. Considering how long you've not been in touch with Beth, and all... That just added up.
And I also wasn't really sure who the woman was who was responsible for taking off (or recommending) the removal of your parenting right from the petition - the (male-hating) judge, your ex or possibly even someone from CPS.
So, to you, this is glass-half-full at the moment? Surely, this is the least unhappy thing you've experienced in quite some time.

Ok, maybe some clarification 
The lady from CPS is recommending that termination gets removed from the petition.
My ex probably lost her phone from non-payment, but she's still a bitch for the way she has raked me over the coals on this.
It is a, well I don't know. Its a glass half full and 3/4 empty. Half full because the court case has some good news, and 3/4 empty because I still have not had contact with my child.

Ok.... The lowdown.
Spoke to my attorney today. He and the lady from CPS spoke to the prosecutor. They are removing the termination of my rights from the petition.
I have to go to the next court date (Dec. 15th), then go to a class they will assign to me.
Then I get Beth back!! She's coming home!!

Well, I had the first of my "weekly supervised hour long visits" that is all I get till Beth comes home. It went quite well. We had a lot of fun. She sat on my lap while I read her Volume 3 of the Spiderwick Chronicles, we colored, and played with play-do. I didn't want to let her go when it came time to leave, but I think I can stick this out a few more weeks

Like I said... I didn't want to let go
I cherish every moment with her. Whatever we're doing.
When she was home, we did EVERYTHING together. She even helps carry firewood in. I've got the most adorable pics of her loading firewood into the wheel barrow. I'll share them when I get a chance to scan them. I've also been teaching her how to use PCs, both Windows XP and Linux (Yes, even at 6 years old ), how to play chess, and of course how to read. She even helped me play battletech a couple times. Oh, and cards, she LOVES to play cards.
