Here is something I have posted on www.solaris7.com. I am posting both versions of the mech, R&D and the production model.
While in research, Ground Zero machines are given a numerical designation. They are only named after being approved and going to production.
Here is Mech 72, a 100 tonner.

Overview:
Mech72 began as a plan to fill an in expensive fire support role. To date, there is a single prototype available, though originally there were three. Due to a flaw in the ammo feed set up, the first exploded during trials, the ammunition having been ignited by internal systems in the mech itself. The second prototype was several mauled in a transport accident involving a loader mech, imporperly secured hoists, and a three story drop in the factory. Despite the setbacks, the design was reworked and the ammunition storage issues have been resolved. The loader mech pilot has been canned.
Capabilities:
Mech 72 was created to fill a fire support role when other more well known designs could prove to be more expensive. Meant to stay back and not engage the enemy directly, the focus was put on long range weapons. So far the result has been moxed. While the machine does perform well in its intended task, it is still slightly over budget. It has been suggested that the design be scrapped and a slightly lighter frame be used to create a new machine. Still, at just over ten million c-bills for an assault mech, it may have its possibilities, and its buyers.

Currently Mech 72 has been slated for rework.

Whatever the designing engineer took: He has to take less 
That mix of different launchers must be a technicians nightmare!
The production model is really much better.
