==Overview:==
While the Free Rasalhague Republic was thrilled to posess new mech factories,
the leadership of the nation found itself dismayed by the fact that many of
these new mechs wound up being purchased by the foreign powers responsible for
setting up these factories in the first place.

In response, the decision was made to try and develop an indigenous mech
without any outside help beyond parts. The result was the Gehyra, so-named due
to its physical resemblence to a lizard. The shape is considered a plus, as
the mech can crawl low to the ground and is harder to spot.

The Gehyra functions as a recon-raider, using its powerful electronics to find
targets. The pilot can then choose to engage with his medium lasers, or decide
to hand off the target to larger units and/or artillery. 

Of note is the pair of RL-10s. The decision was made to mount them in order to
provide a token level of long-range firepower. The RL-10s enable the pilot to
chip away from any hostile units at long range before this unit has a chance
to close; with any luck, a rocket or two will find a chink in the target's
armor. 

==Capabilities:==
Game rules based on fluff:

1. Due to its low profile, a +1 to-hit penalty is added whenever targeting a
Gehyra.

2. If a Gehrya goes into a water hex, consider it submerged regardless of
depth. This is again due to its low profile.

==Variants:==
Due to concerns raised by the test pilots, small lasers may be used instead of
RL 10s.

I like the RLs they work has a once off shot to attract attention as a lure for a ambush. the fluff rules are good to but maybe add another with regard to its low slung nature maybe add a risk of being damaged when moving through a rough hex.

It's so cute, unless it bites your arm off. It isn't too fast or well armed, but it's well armored and equipped with powerful EW suite. An useful thing for low price.
