Okay my take on an upgraded Scorpion, I tried to keep the weapons the same adding only in better versions of them. The only major changes are the XL, endo, and ER Lasers.

They are:
Heat 15
Damage 15
Range 6 12 18 with a 3 hex min

This what I got from the TechManual when I glanced through it at a friend's house...

At first glance I kind of like it. But the engine is a fortune. Can it move 6/9 and go with the weapons you have put on it?
AWAD- XL as a retrofit I do not allow except after huge cost, and a lot of time at a major repair facility

Without the HPPC sure it can stay at 6/9, but the idea was to fit the big gun on there and give it the heafty punch. And for that I had to go with the XL...I think the speed increase is a big plus in giving the mech more sting so to speak.

No, can it have an XL engine and the HPPC but only and some other systems to save its ass. I see your point and agree, just the cost is a killer. I mean the old Scorp had an SRM and PPC so it can take the HPPC and maybe some other small secondary system. That is huge.

Yes the cost of a lot of the items in the BT universe have never made sense. So here is prime example of that.
I will play around with it some more, but going with what I did, endo steel, ER ML, HPPC, and the XL all for more speed and more armor. I would have loved a Streak 4, but it would work out or if it would have I would have been stuck with a standard small lasers...

Just now noticed this one.
It looks almost... quaint... compared to the version I did.
Expect to encounter it if the campaign keeps going long enough.
