The text size is very small...smaller than the quoted text. Any way to make the default text size larger?

I think that this font is unsuited for small sizes.
The "Who´s online" is just a size-problem too.
In a size that small the single letters seem to "stick together" on my screen.

You mean the list of Who's Online, down at the bottom. One of the key differences between this layout and the new one is that this site is all fixed font sizes. You can change the font setting on your browser and it won't do a damned thing.
The new layout uses em font sizing. Which means the size of the font displayed is dependent on your browser setting. The default sizing will end up being between 11-12px. The small fonts will be around 9-10px.

Can you give me a screenshot? The text size looks perfectly fine on mine. Maybe you need to buy a real monitor.
I increased the default size slightly (by 5%). Does that look better for you?

So based on your screenshot, it is a cookie issue. The cookie says you should be logged in automatically, but it couldn't find the proper session/user for whatever reason.
In my code I "assumed" it would always succeed at a certain point. I now added some additional error checking so if there is a problem with the cookies/sessions synching up, it will simply assume you are a guest. Which SHOULD avoid all those ugly messages.
If you (or anyone for that matter) encounters them again, please let me know!

So, after a little discussion via PM, we narrowed the problem down to your browsers font setting. You had it set to "Smaller". So, the web site was actually doing exactly as it was suppose to.
However, because I realize some people may have their browser at a certain setting but would still like to browse my site at a different setting, I tweaked the account information. There is now an option called 'Font Size' down near the bottom. This is a percentage between 25 and 200. It indicates what percentage of the standard font size you'd like to browse with. The default is obviously 100%, but you can tweak it to meet your needs. Maybe 105% is slightly better for you. Or even 106%. Or maybe you like to squint and change it to 75%. You can.
Just one more thing I'm doing to make your Mordel.Net browsing experience more enjoyable.

You can logout on the menu bar. On the left hand side there is a Lock icon. If yoiu over the mouse over the lock, a hint box pops up which reads 'Click to logout of Mordel.Net'.
As for the profile text, there isn't a place. I actually decided to do away with the Profile text area. Very few people actually used it. It was usually filled with garbage.
Glad the changeable font worked.

I have a suggestion for ya Mordel...
Recode the Polls to allow the creator to have a radio button set like this:
(o) Standard Poll
( ) Multiple Choice Poll
and of course then edit the polling code to allow multiple choice by changing from radio buttons to check boxes.
Anyways, just an idea, and one that would be damned useful IMHO.

Sounds good. When the new site officially rolls out, please add the suggestion to the Electronic Request System so it can properly be tracked.
