hello all out there.
you might of noticed me around for the last couple of weeks.
but i think its about time that i formally introduced myself.
I'm Ron aka Culverin.
I've been playing battletech for not all that long, only 4 years unlike some of the oldtimers. Always loved the computer game so when a friend introduced me to the board game and RPG, i gave a try. Now i've become a fanatic.
I've completed painted up 4 minis. 2 are posted on my page in the link below. The crusader is my first mini, and also my first custom. So be kind 
LOTB is my home. When i was looking for ravenheart, somebody suggested i look here. and so here i am.

Hey Culverin, nice to have a new person on the board (and in the game). Make yourself at home, talk some mech, grab a drink at the Bar&Grill, and always have a sense of humor (the last will get you far around here).

thanx about the webpage.
i've just started it up a while back.
i haven't really worked on it much.
i mean i've been playing for the 4 years but i'm far from new.
In these 4 years, i've climbed to the top of the munchkin pile to become the lord of the munchkins.
not joking.
if you give me options, you'll never see what hit you.
oh yeah, my playing style is "extreme"
i'm a munchkin to i always specialize.
i've taken in 7/11/7 LBX and UAC/20 carriers.
and am the master of the LAM.
i'm a speed demon too.
my LAM jumps at 24

Welcome aboard sir..... as for the Crusty statement,,,, I was old enough to remeber Star Wars and I bet I can still beat your..... o, maybe I am getting crusty and cranky in my old age.

Don't listen to AWAD, He isn't half a crusty as the rest of us......That didn't come out like I'd planned......?????
Sir Henry, I was 11 when the original Star Wars ANH, was released. I sat 9 row from the from the front on the right side of Theater 4, At the Americana Theaters across from the ZOO on 8 Mile...For all you Motor city folk who know where the ZOO is...

13 when Stars Wars hit the screen. I saw it 23 times. I even paid for a couple of those  .
