AC ammo is in the leg because it has better protection there than in the torsos and in the trial runs I had, it wasn't a problem. Besides, by the time you take 43 points of damage to one leg, in most battles, a lot of that ammo will be used up anyways, especially if you're using special ammo.

And lower BV isn't always that bad
