The door opens to admit a dishelved yet cheerful woman. Her uniform looks like it has seen some hard combat recently. walking up to the bar, she drops a note 'puter, down and surveying the room, says in a tired but clear voice " We got her, anyone want a copy of Legend Killer's design? this should prove the nay-sayers wrong, concidering the whole thing is nothing but a Clan modifyed Rifleman. Long,long before the Clans supposedly ever came back. And I am sure a Wolf warrior or two will like this." she says with pure evil glee in her gray eyes as she tosses an DNA sample with the name G.Norton onto the bar next to the 'puter. Pulling back her long hair and tieing it into a pony tail she exclaimes " Lord above I need a drink. Scotch if you please and leave the bottle." adding c-bills to the pile on the bar.

I am listening. Noton was a Wolf spy? I guess Solaris would be a good listening post considering the way news travels. so what Was legend killer armed with?

Spook returns a few minutes later, eyes sweeping the room briskly, settling on the table before silently making his way back to his previous barstool. With a brief frown, he sighs lightly and pulls his noteputer back out to tap in a few things.

" Well I wouldn"t say he was a 'Wolf' spy, but his DNA matches a family that left with the Clans way back in the day. that young womans name was Sabrina Norton and she was a second lt. with the 10th 'Michigan' and as for the Legand killer, well twin AC5 ultras paired with Er larges. backed by 4 Med pulses. and somthing unheard of then A CLAN TARGETING COMPUTER. it was all placed into a 85 ton endo/xl package and wrapped up in standard armor, so no one would be the wiser. A bit fat for a simple Rifleman. Even had single sinks to fool folks on IR but how no one ever noticed the seismic foot print I dunno, unless they didn't survive long enough to pass that lil tid bit along." I'll have to look at some records. Do tou need any resupply, I have some good contacts with KCEI. They can probably provide anything you need.
Ultras backed by a pulse laser array. Then the old downgraded heatsink dodge. He still must have had fits trying to use that firpower with the limited heat. Having double the apparent/ expected firepower at long range must have been a rude surprise. having the close in firepower go into the most weakened point would have been a shattering experience too.
