Talen dissapeared over the edge and Raven started laughing. His cackle was suddenly ended as the rope went taught and started pulling him toward the edge of the building. He motioned to the BOIL hovership to catch him, and as he flew over the edge the ship manuvered beneth him, grabbing him. Raven held on for his lfe as the rope was still pulling him down. He grabbed his knife to cut it, but suddenely noticed the rope went limp, and was starting to move.
He followed the rope and cursed as Talen rose up to his own level, on a hovercraft of his own, piloted by none other than Vagabond. Raven cursed and cut the rope. Talen just smiled. He kicked the roof and Vagabond throttled up the hovercraft, taking him away from the tall building. Raven did the same and pointed to the fleeing ship. The BOIL Pilot gave a thumbs up and soon the second speeder was on the chase.
The two ships dodged and ducked through the concrete and steel canyon, shooting a lot, but never hitting eachother. All around buildings were highly damaged, but the two ships kept at it.
A missile fired by the BOIL ship locked on and struck Vagabond's ship, jolting Talen. He flashed a thumbs down to Vagabond...then took a running jump off the damaged aircraft. Mid flight a 4ft long dark black blade appeared in Talen's hand. He held it straight up and the momentum of the BOIL craft took it right into the mega sharp sword. Metal cut metal and the sword peirced armor. The BOIL craft began to split across at the seems. Raven cursed and jumped off the side as the BOIL craft exploded in a massive concussive blast.
Raven and Talen free fell, but Raven caught up to Talen, grabbing him in a death lock. Talen spat, but the spit just dissapeared as it didnt have the weight to keep it at the speed the two grappled combatants struggled mid air. Raven finally pulled his gun, a custom built 1.75 calibur (yes...1.75 inches) cannon and pointed it at Talen's forhead.
"Dodge this," Raven growled. Talen was about to try something, but the two slammed into pavement traveling some several hundred miles an hour by that point. The pavement cracked and buckled under the impact. The jolt knocked Raven's gun loose and it fired, blowing a massive hole in the side of a nerby car. Both warriors were motionless, groaning loudly.
"I hate you Talen," Raven muttered.
"I'd spit on you right now if I could feel my body," Talen coughed out. The spit that Talen spat earlier found its mark a second later, landing on Raven's buisness suit.
"You guys okay?" a voice came out from next to them. It was Vagabond skating up.
"Fine, Vagabond. The broken bones will heal once the internal organs are replaced."
Talen sat up.
"Funny...I dont feel broken..."
"Me neither," Raven said sitting up. "Did something break our fall?"
They looked down and saw a body lying impacted into the cement. Both men stood up and looked at the body.
"MEX?" Raven laughed.
"Terminated..." Talen said codly.
"Hey guys, nice timing on the fall...Lets go have a drink." Vagabond laughed and pointed up. They had falled twenty feat away from the B&G. The three walked into the bar (well...Vagabobd skated actually) and they all charged a few drinks to MEX's account...
