Iam trying to tie in all the various RE games (and the movie of course).
Basically, I am working on a timeline of the Resident Evil universe.
Does anyone know of some good websites that have different views of the events in the games and movie? Does anyone have any comments about them?

The games were in cronological order I think, but I don't know where the movie fits in. The Capcom website might have the answers you seek, and if there is a message board there, I'm sure this has been brought up. GameFaqs.com also has an active message board, so trying there might be good too.

IIRC, the movie is a prequel to the games...but I could easily be wrong...

I think you are right Ruger, as I seem to remember hearing something like that before, but I could be wrong as well, seeing how I am anything but an authority on RE, or movies for that matter, although 2Fast 2Furious did rock

the movie's begining takes place before the first game but finishes at the begining of the second.
i do beleave that the girl is the same female you play in #2. because that scene is were you start.
i want a second movie. i miss the games because of there storyline.... so well thought out.

Yes the movie is set before the games. They did that so people that hadn't played wouldn't miss anything, and the gamers would get the history.
Also, there is a new movie in the works. Due for release mid-late 2004. I think it's called "Resident Evil : The Apocalypse", but I can't recall exactly.
