Before voting... we should have a definition of what does Lead mean?
Is it just a matter of choosing which contracts we take on?
Is it a matter of who decides on the battlefield?
Since we are going to be a unit, why cant we vote on a group decision here? We could always vote as a group and say that PC "x" chooses to do "y" as the leader, right?
I personally like group think, as long as it doesn't cause too much confusion. If we are truely active players then it shouldn't be a problem. This is a PBeM anyhow, so there is no such thing a required "quick" decision. imho.
... and personally, I wouldn't want to be taking "bad" orders from someone who has less experience than I might have. Nothing personal, just saying.

Mekslayer, all of this has already been laid out. Before you post again, I want you to go back and read every topic that I started and study how this game is handled. It is getting exhausting constantly having to direct you to the appropriate topic or the agreed upon way of doing thing.

We can discuss this if you desire, but my opinion as the game runner is that I want the CO deciding both strategic and tactical decisions. I don't want to have to potentially pause while a military force decides what to do by comity.
As for the experience of these players, everyone here except you and one other I have only know a short while, I personally know to have been playing BT for at least 25 years. I trust their judgement over pretty much anyone else.
