Don't forget, our Canadian tanker, Alexander, would likely also pilot a Banshee...

Hmm...for a Clan 'Mech, I'd probably take a Crimson Langur (7/11 moving 50 tonner with 168 pts of standard plate armor), equipped with an ER LL, 2 ER Meds, 2 flamers, a SRM-4 with a ton of ammo, an ECM suite, a light AP, 5 JJs and 12 DHSs...
Great command 'Mech for Nova Captain Wolfgang Steiner, a Hell's Horseman (former Cloud Cobra) in the 77th Mechanized Cavalry (Famine Cluster), isn't it?
If we have to take published versions, I'll take a Crimson Langur Prime, but I'd prefer the version above (and the version mentioned below even more...)
Ruger (of course, Wolfgang's version is slightly different...as it would have been the only 'Mech in his Trinary to have standard armor plate, he had his tech replace it with ferro, bumping it up that final point to full armor for its size...once the Light AP is also dropped, you can add in a TC with the weight savings...)

For clans I'll take an Uller A or a Pirahna. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

For the 3005 unit I'll take the classic LCT-1V Locust. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

For the 3062 unit, I'll take my LCT-4X Locust.
Or if no customs allowed then I'll take the SCB-9A Scarabus. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

I'd be piloting the Summoner Prime, of course! All-range killing power, a non-ammo-dependent ERPPC, it's got all the goods!

Seraph: Locust 1V by default - I only add letters to those units if they are not the standard main variant.
We will take the Kit Fox for the Clan unit, quiaff? You would not prefer a 20 ton 2nd line unit to a 30 ton omnimech, quineg?
And back to the IS - yeah sure, IS 3062 is our kitbash fest!

Not sure. The speed is great on the Pirahna, but I can mount a Gauss Rifle on the Uller. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

Two Questions:
1) Can we get all future updates to the unit list as replies to the main post so they are easier to find?
2) Also not all of us are TRO fanatics who know all the "standard variants" so could we also get the designation for each mech, the full designation?
ex:
3005
ralgith - Marauder MAD-3D
3062
ralgith - Bandersnatch BNDR-01A using 2 tons of standard ammo and 2 tons cluster for the LB 10-X, 1 each for each gun.
(or Marauder MAD-5Y-C)
Clan
ralgith - Timberwolf A
hmm, OK, 3rd question just popped into my head... should we also choose a specific clan, so that we know what field of mechs to choose from since not all clans use all mechs? For instance at the moment we seem to be mostly Jade Falcon's, using their mainstay mechs like Turkina, Timberwolf, Nova, Summoner...
Of course, Timberwolf is also a mainstay in Clan Wolf... so shrug.
[edit]
Edited to add my ammo prefs... hehehe
[/edit]

Warhammer: 3025
Perferred ride in 3005: WHM-6R Warhammer
Preferred ride in 3062: Warhammer "Titan"
Preferred Clan ride: Summoner Prime, w/standard AC ammo. _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. Only one, instead, is an orange of DOOM. That orange has a fate to rule over the other oranges with an iron fist. That orange is me.

In character:
HAHAHAHA - Timberwolf a mainstay?!?!?! Of Clan Jade Falcon? HAHAHAHA.....erm..... The Timberwolf is an uncommon 'mech in Clan Jade Falcon. We look down upon it. The Hellbringer is the better line 'mech and the Summoner, well that is the superior machine, full stop. Any Timberwolves in ClanJF go to inferior pilots or are taken as personal choice by higher ranking individuals.
/character
Sorry, no hard feelings, right?
The Nova is an uncommon machine, found sporadically in all invading Clans (well, in the original source books JF, GB and W all have specific intances where it is used). The TRO states that it is slightly more common in Clan Wolf - and even for that Clan, the quoted proliferation is 1-2 per cluster!!! Thus, it would be a real honour for me to drive it (once again - I know that my SaKhan and a famous Ristar drive one) as a Jade Falcon.
Now, about specific Clans.... I was thinking that myself.... I have always been a Jade Falcon, Motown is a known Ice Hellion. So, what do we do? Either we are a part of an alliance to restore honour to the Clans by striking at the Inner Sphere in one trial or another, so everyone gets to pick their Clan of Origin. Or we let our noble leader/chihawk decide. In that case, anyone who wants to stick to their original story has to be a bondsman.
Last but not least: I'll work in the type numbers and post the whole thing below, ASAP.

3025 leaves me with something as scary as a Panther 9R
3050 is an upgraded Panther with streaks. (its posted somewhere on the site)
3058 Gets me a ER PPC (clan tech, not posted on the site yet) and some medium lasers with left over weight. Still a standard engine I might point out.
Clan it has to be the Mad Dog, or a Nova depending on what we need to fill out the unit.
