my next question is not anything wrong with the design but an inquiry:
why wing mounted weapons when you have space in the nose? _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

I was going for the "typical" fighter look, seeing this one more a turbine prop kind of fighter not a jet fighter. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

ok. Its just one of those minor peeves I have when a person has 3 weapons (3 ml) and 2 are in the wings. You usually can only fire with 2 because of it. GAH!
but look and style make it ok. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

You can always go for the push propeller on the back or for twin boom configuration like on OV 10 Bronco. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

ok, WTF! Conventionals dedicate 10% of mass to controls?
Why would a aircraft of one type with less sophisticated controls suddenly have a heavier cockpit than another? Should have read ton*0.10=weight (max 3t). _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

This unit is intended to load Flak AC ammo and a pair of LAA (Light Air-to-Air Missiles). The LAC/2 w/ Flak and TC gets a -3 to-hit against VTOL and other air units. Its only 2pts of damage, but any damage in atmo forces a PSR so hitting might be better in this case. The pair of LAAs give a heavy punch at 6 dmg each if you need it. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

I see your point on the weight issue thing. Even when I looked through the SV rules for fixed wing aircraft things don't get any better. I am starting to see that Conventional Aircraft and BT are not set up together very well.
Simple constructs are worse off then their high tech counter parts.
The F version of the Falcon seems to be a good mix and thank you for the ideas and direction you went with it. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato
