I actually had the image for this pop into my head before I actually sat down to create it.
Imagine an eight-wheeled chassis with a distinct front slope and a bay in back. Sitting on this chassis is a large, sloped turret that has an antenna array.
The idea for the Bobcat is that it can zip in under the cover of its ECM, use its Active Probe to find targets, and sucker punch said targets with the PPC.
With the infantry, I had some tonnage left over and so went with it. The idea is that the handful of soldiers on board can either dismount to hold a position ahead of reinforcements, or help the Bobcat crew fend off infantry by firing out of weapons ports located on the sides and rear.

Not bad, not bad at all! I like the concept, although I'm trying to avoid fractional accounting.

my suggested changes for its stated mission profile.
variant 1: -ppc +LL; -mg w/ ammo, +spl. -1t turret. use 3t for various.
variant 2: -ppc +erll +2 hs. -1t turret. use 1t for various.
variant 3: -ppc +snub ppc. use 1t for various.
Hard to sucker punch most targets you'll find with a BAP with minimum range of 3.
I'd say variant 3 is a good way to go.

hmmmm, the snub ppc still has a 15 hex range. 9 of which is short range.

Meh, I keep forgetting how short the range really is on IS pulse lasers. You'd have to gowith X-pulse...
