A low cost take on the Warhammer Replaces the PPC's with AC5's and ammo for special munitions. Not sure if I like it or not. But its kind of interesting.

This variant is kinda... strange. It seems to be trying to change the fundamental role of the Warhammer to a long-range platform, but at the same time it possesses fearsome close-in power.

I'd have to give it a 2 1/2. It's got some mean weapons, but doesn't seem focused on how to use them.

Not bad. Your mech has some ranged
firepower (not too much), good armor and
short range punch. I'm not sure if the ACs
and LRMs are enough to get you the
attention of your enemy, but wo sais that
you want to have it before you get to med.
laser range

I would try something like this Because
Davions are said to be obsessed
with AC/10 and the are also the developers of
special ammo. SRMs were dropped, so the
mech probably resembles old WHM-6D.
C3 would be handy with short ranged ACs.

Woops. should have been a period there. though there is a 75K difference in the cost between the ppc and the ac, was more going for a warhammer that didnt rely on the XL or light fusion to make the chassie lighter. Removing the ES, FF, and DHS change the price less then 400K, and with them it gives the hammer a better long range punch (because it can squeeze the LRM 10 in) and better short range with out having to worry about the extra space being taken up by the engine.

A low cost take on the Warhammer. (right here to be exact) Replaces the PPC's with AC5's and ammo for special munitions. Not sure if I like it or not. But its kind of interesting

Yeah I am just not sure how much I like it (if at all), I guess I see it as more of a sniper, with the ability to defend itsself.
