Very similar to the one that pop up in MechForce Magazine...and I was told that my take on the same mech with Clan tech was very close to that one...I guess there is only so much can do to improve on an excellent mech before it all starts to look the same.

It is very close to a Mad Dog (Vulture) varinet.
But the clan verison of the Archer would have to be the Kraken 3. 8 LRM 15 and enough ammo to go the distance.

Love the Kraken 3. Look into the eyes of the dead when that mech comes around.....
Sir Henry, Undefeated in the Kraken 3....

But why go all the way to a 100 tonner when you can get a decent mech at same tonnage as the Archer??

Do not ask me. It is a book mech. I am not crazy about missle boats. But I guess I could try to hatch one.

It was more of a retoric question...I have a couple of 100 ton missile boats but they are setup a moving seige machines not front line mechs...
