Isn't that always the case? 
BTW Chi, I'll be having a hernia operation this coming Tuesday. Don't ask me how I got it, as I haven't a clue. But I do and its a humdinger too! If it weren't for the Vicodin I'm taking life would be really misreable right about now!!

I had umbilical hernias and had them for a long time before it became an issue...no idea how I got them either, just happens I guess.
It does hurt like a bastard for a couple days after, but it you'll be amazed at how quickly you'll go from feeling like crap to walking around and doing little tasks pain-free. I was on Vicodin for under 72 hours and was taking OTC stuff for another week...

Mine is my lower left abdomin/groin area. It can be pretty difficult to sit at times. I'm looking forward to getting this over with. Although this will make my seventh surgery in my life time. I look like I've been wounded in battle with all the scars I've got!
