Can everyone post their all-time favorite mech (customs or variants allowed) and why they like it so much? _________________ I have the right to remain silent. Anything I say will undoubtedly incriminate me.

Shadow Hawk- First mini I ever owned!!!
T-Bolt- In 3025 was my ride of choice, still love the design.
Archer- nothing says Classic Battletech like the Archer.....'nuff said.

I gotta agree with the Archer as a classic, but don't forget the battlemaster and Warhammer, I think we all played them at one point!
Favorite has to the Black Knight, it look cool and it is a pretty good design. enough LR firepower and decent close up weapons. _________________ If Life is like a box of chocolates, then what would Death be?

My favorite depends on what I`m trying to do, but there are only so many ways of doing things right
Spiders are some of the best light mechs you can find. Fast, jump-capable, and they look nice.
For my medium mechs, several different models can be used. Phoenix Hawks as scouts, Centurions and Trebuchets as ground-pounders, Wolverines as heavy cavalry.
A Thunderbolt is never wrong. It is the true meaning of heavy mech: something with lots of armor and guns! If you need a jumping heavy, take a Grasshopper.
Assault mechs should not care about speed, only about guns and armor. The Banshee as rebuilt by House Steiner is probably the best for my style of play.

The StarSlayer and the Penetrator are my favorites. Go for most everything....

Geesh people, he said one. We have a bunch we like but lay out the one that for some reason this very moment you think rocks.
The Zeus, why it looks so damn cool on the pictures and is a decent well rounded mech.
AWAD- Cover on MAx Tech just rocks

The MadCat (Timberwolf for all you clanners) is my all-time favorite mech. It is an omni, has good pod space (and its clan), good armor, and good speed. It is the best overall machine in the game, IMO.
For IS machines, the Falconer comes to mind, but the XL engine casts doubt onto that choice.

I have always been partial to the Mad Dog, Incubus and Stone Rhino in terms of looks.
As for performance...the Battlemaster, any of the Marauder's except for Ruger's (sorry, I had to) and the D Variant of the Timber Wolf.

MAD-3D Marauder. Yeah, it's a beast when it comes to heat, but so what? _________________ I'm not family friendly. That's why I don't post here.
