Remember the discussion concerning FanPro going back and fleshing out some of the history of BTech? I just had an interesting idea on how they can lead into it.
Do this as a Mechwarrior novel:
In the middle of the FC Civil War, a young up-and-coming commander finds a journal written by an ancestor during a previous war (such as, the Aramis Civil War) and reads that; however, it would be juxtaposed in such a way that the reader is presented both stories so that they seem to form a comparison.
