I like this design (replacing the LRM15 for the LRM5 which I think is the actual design)
It looks like a wolverine, with an LRM instead of a SRM. The wolvie can best it I think, but overall, this mech has a nice damage profile, and no holes.
It also has very good armor and jump jets which add to its abilities. |

I like the trenchbucket.. This mod though leaves me wondering if they wanted it to be a fire support mech, or a general all about town mech..
With the single LRM15, it has enough firepower at range to make lights want to close with it, but not really mediums or heavies.. The three Medium Lasers really make me not want to close with it unless I have to.

This is a fire support mech. The 2 LRM15s allow alot of missles to be fired each volley. It out guns the Dervish at range and up close. The 3 medium lasers guard the in tight range..
Only drawbacks are mediocre armor and lack of jump jets to maneuver with.
This mech is very nice when used in a light fire lance or as support to a company a company. |

Interesting mech.. Set up as a close in brawler type, but doesn't really have the armor to support that.. The movement though helps with the lack of armor though.
A lance of these would be really interesting to see in a company level battle.

I just don't like this mech, maybe it is the purist in me, but a Trenchbucket has LRMs.. not PPCs..
The weapon load gives it decent mid to long range firepower with very little dependance on ammo, but I would have rather kept the 2 M Lasers instead of the silly SRM2, which opens it up to ammo explosion problems. |

Standard Archer..
This mech is excellent if you can take varied loads for your LRMs.. The 4 Medium lasers have a poor arrangement, I'd rather see them all point forward, which would allow their use for backing up any chargers on the LRMs.
The armor is excellent.. Very thick and tough.
The lack of heat sinks really tend to limit your choices when flying this mech.
Overall the best fire support mech out there, but it does have a few drawbacks. |

I like this mech alot.. Kind of consider it a Wolverine on steroids..
Tough to overheat, good weapon mix, very good movement for its size, and excellent armor..
Only real drawback here would be that it needs to get moderately close to really hurt something bad.. At ranges against like sized mechs, it is usually outgunned. |

Interesting mech.
a very poor single duelist mech, but a very useful mech as part of a recon lance.
Light mech with 2 LRM5s.. The ability to carry a ton of Thunders really makes pursuing a lance of light mechs with one of these in the group incredibly painful. It can retreat and flip its arms dropping mines all over heck.
Even better, should it only get the LRMs, it can outrun almost any other ground pounder keeping its distance and launching LRMs at any pursuers.
Nothing should ever get close to this mech.

This is an excellent Variant..
It is a Laser boat. No heat worries, ie you can heat up and not go boom. With the lasers, you should be able to choose your shots. Nice fast movement. Enough armor to take one or two punches..
This is my favorite medium mech.

This is a decent support mech.
In a one on one duel it is a bit lacking as it depends heavily on LRMs for long ranges, and carries an awful lot of ammo.
In a Lance though, this mech does very well for its weight as a Fire support type mech.
