Comment: A configuration with the heavy firepower of an ER-PPC combined with an UAC/10 and the heatsinks to shoot them.
Some lasers as backup (especially if the AC runs out of ammo).
As you can't drop the small ER laser for armor (it's an Omni) i wouldn't drop it at all.

Comment: Hmmm.. Nice variant of the B-configuration.
The light gauss gives it a tremendous range now while making room for a heavy energy weapon that fits in its range but has no min range any more.
It has enough ammo to snipe from far for a long time but the C3-slave would have been nice here.

Comment: The D configuration has brutal firepower, no ammo to worry about and enough heat sinks to keep the pressure for a long time.
You have to have some firediscipline though. The small laser is nothing but a space filler here.

Comment: This configuration has a good weaponloadout with some serious range and firepower but it is only a mech for part time warriors: Your ammo bins will run dry before most engagements are solved.
But at least you wonīt miss CASE so much as this mech tends to be without ammo before your armor is breached.

Comment: Driving this hasnīt the "BJ"-feeling any more but itīs a useful design.
Heavy firepower in medium ranges and a lot of heatsinks to use its main-weapons (3025 Mechs naturally tend to run hotter than 3050+).
The reduction of armor is the only problem here because this variant will draw more fire than the original.

Comment: Good armor, standard engine and CASE make this Mech hard to take down.
It is not as fast as some other machines of its weight but the jump jets add considerable maneuverability. The weaponloadout is, at first glance, well chosen: At short and medium ranges it can dish out some hard blows (don't underestimate that massive MRM!). The light gauss can reach out very far though it hasn't that high damage potential any more.
Heat isn't much of a problem here as it can alphastrike while at a full jump without negative effects.
The only (but serious) disadvantage is its full ammo dependence combined with small ammo bins!
While making use of its full damage potential the UAC will be empty soon and that MRM will dry up shortly thereafter.
The light gauss has some shots more but with that range it will be able to shoot at something every round.
If you expect a short and bloody fight this will be something for you but in a somewhat prolonged battle you will end up without something to shoot with soon.

Comment: A fast C3-Master unit with lots of armor but somewhat reduced firepower. It lacks long range weapons and so has to get very close to deliver a shot.
Replace the MRM and the small ER's with a large ER laser to make it able to stay behind your lancemates and still deliver some firepower.

Comment: Fast, fully armored and heavily armed this mech will give anything up to its weight class (and even some heavier units) a bad headache.
With its speed and its weapons reaching into the medium range even in open terrain it is able to close quickly without getting to much fire in advance.
Involved in short range combat it has to keep an eye on the heat scale and suffers from its restricted firearc though.

Comment: The -A3 was a formidable mech but this variant is somewhat odd. To drop the large pulse lasers for two LRM-10 on a mech that's build to close fast and smash the enemy is a bad idea. Even if you like to get additional long range firepower to cover your advance it has too much ammo for that. Better half the ammo to get artemis (or even better take the -A3).

Comment: Almost full armor and a standard engine aren't bad for a company-commander but the reduction in speed hurts though the jump jets give it more maneuverability.
Two C3-masters do decrease its ability to mount weapons considerably.
Given the circumstances the weaponry isn't that bad. The ER-PPC can deliver reliable damage at a great range while the MRM has a tremendous medium range punch especially if using the C3-network. The lasers are a standard backup and as it is able to fire away with almost everything without worrying too much about heat the mech can deliver considerable firepower at ranges of 360m and less.
To give it more range you can easily replace the MRM by an LRM-20 or even by a second ER-PPC plus an LRM-10 rack.
