I like this mech :-D
I'm a sucker for rotary ACs and anything that tosses in 4 of the babies gets my vote!
Also your fluff is brilliant.
On the downside this baby lacks range. It must be a member of a mixed lance, preferably with long range firepower. |

I kinda like this design.
It has good long range firepower that it can maintain for a decent amount of time and can easily switch over to its dual mediums at close range.
When put together with its lance mates, the Jaegar, while primarily a long range mech can support the centurion quite well when the enemy gets near. The Ac/5 may have a minimum range, but its short range is quite good. |

I like this mech, it's a good, tough command mech with good long range firepower.
My only quibble with it is the small lasers, i'd have kept the third Medium laser instead.
While the CASE may seem a bit pointless on an XL machine, this IS a commanders mech, the case will protect the commander if anything goes wrong and will also protect that expensive C3 master in event of an ammo explosion. |

About the only thing going for the bombardier is speed. The two big LRM racks are nice but have absolutely no endurance whatsoever. In my hands i'll can the SRM4 for more ammo and maybe a medium laser. Just run from whatever appraoches |

Actually i find this a very decent mech. especially when you consider that its supposed to be a militia machine.
For one, while its none too impressive, its incredibly durable. even the MG ammo is locked away in a CASE. An ammo explosion will hurt, but it won't finish the mech off.
all in all, it should be able to keep a militia force alive long enough for reinforcements to relieve them. (as long as they don't go into pitched battle) |

This is an incredibly mean machine for its weight class and technology. While a bit short on the range side of the coin, it makes up for it with a brutal punch at emdium to short ranges... i can almost see a 3050 version with LB-10, Er LL and DHS... case too.. |

While DarkAdder's idea of adding more heat sinks is sound.. It just doesn't have the space for it...
As it is its fast, decently armed and armoured and has no need for a supply base (a repair base on the other hand..) |

Nasty son of a gun.
The first thing i'll do if i see one of them in a lighter faster mech is run.
If i'm in something like a panther, i'll hope that jumping is enough....
the twin ER LLs can hurt bigger slower mechs at long range... |
