BattleMech: Javelin JVN-10P
Rating: 1.50
Comment: bleah.... i hate this mech.. armour none too fantastic, strange mix of missiles.. would rather they just replaced all the SRM 6 packs with Streaks.. less firepower though..

About the only plus point is its jump.

BattleMech: Wolfhound WLF-2
Rating: 4.00
Comment: Wolfhounds are a little like the Energizer Bunny. They keep going and going and going.
There's no danger of side torso engine heats, no ammo to blow up.

Its not as fast as some would like, but it does have a decent clip and its armour is top notch for a light mech.

Weapons wise, it can keep a nice volume of fire going.

If i could, i would give it endo steel and use the freed tonnage to add jump jets.

BattleMech: Sentinel STN-3L
Rating: 2.00
Comment: Oddly enough, the Sentinel was designed to fill Steiner's army.. its probably considered a fast unit in the Lyran armed forces but honestly it sucks..

All that ammo and no case.. poor armour..
A wolfhound could probably beat the crap out of it.

BattleMech: Stirge ST-06A
Rating: 3.00
Comment: Absolutely fantastic design. for design this mech's a five star IS mech that can give even the clans a major headache.

However, i want to know more about this mech.. where's the fluff??? It seems an absolute waste that a mech this good has no history.... :-(

BattleMech: Stinger STG-5N
Rating: 2.50
Comment: Fast and deadly. That's purely from the stats.

However, i haven't the faintest idea what this mech is for, where its from, and what kind of deployment exists for it.

BattleMech: Renegade REN-1
Rating: 4.50
Comment: The Jack of all Trades and the master of making the opponent pee in his pants.

Good mix of firepower, armour and electronics. No jump. But in this case, i'll forgive that.

There's precious little that's bad about it.

BattleMech: Renegade REN-1B
Rating: 4.50
Comment: A more specialised version of a general use mech. Well suited from its intended job.

Methinks it can also do well on the field to guard fire support elements from close in assaults.

BattleMech: Renegade Proto-1
Rating: 3.50
Comment: Not quite up to the specs of its production model.

However, it still has decent protectiona nd close in firepower and would be a strong complement to a fire support mech.

Good fluff too.. (I'm a sucker for fluff.)

BattleMech: Goliath GOL-4N
Rating: 2.50
Comment: Design wise, its decent, not fantastic, but if i had to pilot it, i wouldn't complain.

But where's it from?? Why was it made??

<>
Overview
The GOL-4N is a long range support mech with a better damage potentail.
<>

The stats can tell me that already...

<>
Capabilities
The GOl-N has some short range firepower but is meant to be used as a support mech. It has 2 erppc's and 2 lrm 10's for long range fire power. The GOL-4N also has a targeting computer for better accuracy.
<>

Errmm... ditto...

AARGGGGHHHHHH...
drfunk, try reading some of the fluff on the other custom mechs. That might give you an idea of how to get about it.

If you like a hand, just send me a message

BattleMech: Ogre Oge-M1
Rating: 0.00
Comment: Bleah.. i'm still trying ot make sense of this mech... hatchets on a 100 tonner don't make sense to me. It didn't make sense on the berserker and its not making sense here.

The weapon choices are also strange.. there isn't a single real long range weapon there to cover your approach and the number of heat sinks is jsut plain inadequate. Planning for TSM upgrade perhaps?

Of course, i don't know if that's the case cause there isn't any fluff at all.
