Overview:
    Created as a "sister chassis" to the Hræsvelgr, the Lammergeier is an opportunistic hunter
    built to catch unsuspecting enemies with volleys of long range fire. Its production was
    kickstarted by taking heavy inspiration from what seemed to be a destroyed 'Mech prototype
    that was uncovered by the Laughing Vultures on Angell II; while the data they recovered
    showed extensive design flaws, like the misaligned cockpit making ejection exceedingly
    difficult, it had enough promise to warrant a second lease on life.

Capabilities:
    Equipped with 16.5 tons of Stealth Armor and built on an endo-composite chassis, the
    Lammergeier (or Furiae, for the Inner Sphere market) is meant to strike hard from a
    favorable angle when its opponents least expect it. While it has received scorn from the
    newly reborn Jade Falcons, being a machine that relies on "dirty tricks" to get an
    advantage, its usefulness whenever it was deployed alongside their new touman begrudgingly
    saw it earn its rightful spot as a headhunter. While expensive due to the use of an armored
    cockpit and a compact gyro, it boasts a decent amount of pod space at 30 tons, meaning it
    can use several different loadouts effectively and giving enterprising Mechwarriors ample
    room for experimentation. The fixed partial wing system makes its mission profile obvious,
    but the decision to not mount jump jets directly onto the chassis was heavily pushed by the
    chief engineer from D&K Creation Studios in charge of the project to "maximize tactical
    flexibility, and because that shit is stupid".

Deployment:
    This is the BASE chassis, go forth and don't look back.

Variants:
    Created to be a hunter-killer unit with devilish close ranged capabilities, the Furiae A
    asks the simple question of "How many missiles is enough to make a 'mech count as a missile
    boat?" Wiith the answer for this particular configuration being "Six total Artemis IV
    equipped clan grade SRM 6s." And while the ammunition load for these six launchers is ample
    with each launcher having a ton to itseslf, it should be noted that judicious use once
    within range will mean the pilot will run out of ammunition quickly. To allow the chassis a
    modicum of long ranged harassing power on top of having a non ammunition reliant weapon, a
    sigular clan grade ER Large Laser was mounted in the center torso. And to allow the chassis
    to maximize its potential as a fast striker, four jump jets were pod mounted in the side and
    central torsos.
