Overview:
Designed to be the "Fire Hound" to the MCH-2X "Monarch," the Battle Support Platform Model
No. 216VX "Powhatan" follows the design philosophy of the Fire Hound, to be a supporting
vehicle to its partnered Battlemech. With a higher speed than the Monarch, and loaded to the
gills with supporting weapons equipment, Powhatan enables Monarch to lay down devastatingly
accurate missile fire. Powhatan carries its own weapons compliment as well, meant to exploit
the armor and internal components opened by the Monarch. Just as with the Fire Hound, when
the crew and its partnered MechWarrior have taken the time to practice firing maneuvers and
battle tactics, their coordination allows the pair to strip their opposition down, leaving
them weaponless, unprotected, and fighting to keep upright under relentless fire.
