| Credit where credit is due: I'm pinch hitting for Jade Dragon, so any stormtrooper sharpshooting skillz is no reflection on him. I just keep mashing buttons hoping that something will work. Like little Anakin in the Naboo fighter.

Wow.
No matter what is said and done after this, my fun has just died completely.
Pa Weasley is the only one to put me on my back and now he's allied to me? Of course, that's what our inert damage pinata would say, but your?
I haven't talked wiith Pa Weasley about any of my turns at all, apart from a single friendly "get out of my way" half a dozen turns back, where we shot at each other anyway. Even before last turn, he was the main person to do meaningful damage to me all game apart from that one kick that I saw coming a mile away and deliberately chose to eat.
To apply a German proverb, a blind man on crutches could see who Pa_Weasley was going to shoot at. chihawk beat him by a mere handful of points in the final of last game. He's made a (conscious?) choice of being not very graceful graceful towards many of his fellow gamers ever since web-BT started. This would be my turn to subtly hint at maybe trying to learn something from this game. Oh right, it's already too late for that.
Personally, I'd also point out something about there being a difference between not trying very hard and not trying at all. chihawk's move this turn surprised me even less than his inertia over the past few turns. I was clearly waiting for him. Pa_Weasley forgot to submit movement last turn and would have jumped right in front of my guns that I had casually aimed at that hex anyway, had chihawk chosen to not try at all over clearly not trying very hard. Would have worked out way better for me, and I'd have held back my fire at Pa_Weasley just as much as in prior turns.
Mordel, I have a huge urge to submit a "I eject" as my movement. I'll see how I feel about it after I've walked away from this a day or two. If I haven't submitted anything else by Friday, please use this. |
Everyone who plays this game knows that alliances are made and broken almost every turn. I've seen it time and time again from everyone I've played with over the years, including those here who I've played with in person. Who cares? Take your points where you can get them and gloat like hell if you actually win. And you actually never need to explain or defend your position or tactics, because they're yours. However whether you're playing to win or just to have fun regardless of the outcome, do not play the card: "I'm taking my dice and going home". Just quit, without the fanfare. I'm probably going to destroy you in the next two turns anyway.

A mostly ho-hum turn. PaWeasley took some damage and lost an arm, but other then that, not a whole lot going on. Horhiro closed the points gap ever-so-slightly.

There certainly are a couple of you toying with the idea of being eliminated. But you're just not there yet. Jymset is not enjoying the hip hit in conjunction with the gyro! Or at least he won't enjoy it as soon as he wakes up. And Horhiro is counting the number of fish swimming past him after fall in the river (no breach, sorry). Anyways, jymset holds onto his lead, but Mekslayer looks to be in a prime position!
