Hi,
I just found out an error in one of the canon designs.
I was wondering if there is any specific place to report it.
In particular I am looking at the Volkh VKH-1 design, whose 5/8 MP should become 5/7 because of hardened armor. Correctly, the speed with supercharger on is listed as 9.
On TRO3055u movement is indeed shown as 5/7[9] while on mordel is 5/8[9].

This is likely because of the way I calculate the speeds. It gets wonky when multiple speed effecting pieces of equipment are employed. What I tend to do is the 5/8 is "base", then the bracket is the speed with all modifiers, so 5/8 [9]. But I can see how that leaves room for interpretation. I'll put a bug in for it and think it over. For example, what happens when you have 3 or 4 different things which impact speed? You can't really have all permutations listed. But quite possible the "base" should be all things considered that can't be turned on/off.

While I agree that you cannot list all the possible Supercharger/MASC/TSM combinations, having the base speed wrong is sort of odd - at strikingly at variance with the official listing, reading:
Engine: 225 XXL 3.5
Walking MP: 5
Running MP: 7 (9)
Jumping MP: 0
I'm not sure about what should be the best way of handling this but maybe you could simply list the correct base value (5/7 in this case, as determined simply by tonnage, engine and HD armor) and the potential maximum value? This is apparently what CGL does in TROs.
The single combinations are something that people can figure out on their own (if they didn't know how to, they wouldn't be able to check for possible ill effects in the first place).
My two cents Wink [/img]

I agree, and will take that route. I think anything that always impacts your speed should be factored into the base listed speed (so 5/7 in this case). Everything else will be factored into the modified as if it was ALL on. Any combination of things that can be turned on/off, outside of those two, would require the person using it to understand how to actually use it! Smile
