BattleMech: Jenner JR7-F
Rating: 5.00
Comment: This particular Jenner variant is on steroids, having dumped the SRM rack for more armor. This is the mech that runs straight in, breaking up the enemy formation as they scramble to avoid back shots.

I can't understand why the fluff says this variant was undergunned and "improved" with the SRM. To me this one seems the superior version.

BattleMech: Centurion CN9-A
Rating: 4.00
Comment: It's a slow mech, but the weaponry is strong. Properly used the Centurion can carry the day against all comers. Just move forward and use something faster to prevent the enemy from flanking you.

BattleMech: Trebuchet TBT-5S
Rating: 4.00
Comment: A favorite of mine. This is one of the best choices as a close-in fighter against light-to-medium mechs or any vehicles. Heat efficient, well armed with lasers and SRMs, fast. The only drawback is the armor, which is somewhat light.

BattleMech: Thunderbolt TDR-5S
Rating: 5.00
Comment: This is certainly one of the best heavy mechs to be found. It's got weapons, heat sinks and armor in sufficient quantity to deal with any threat. The closer, the better. Any battle involving a TDR will usually end in a very ugly close-range brawl. What could be more fun?

BattleMech: Spider SDR-7M
Rating: 4.00
Comment: The new Spider is a powerful design, but not as good a buy as it was in 3025. When they upgraded it one thing was forgotten: double heat sinks. This means you'll have to do the old jump, attack and retreat for cooling down if you get in a fight. It's harder than before, but when you pull it off it feels great :)

BattleMech: Wolfhound WLF-2
Rating: 5.00
Comment: A true trooper mech, this design can fight anything. Put it in a lance with heavier non-jumpers and use it's speed to your advantage. Sniper or close-in fighter, it can do both. The Wolfhound is, perhaps, the toughest light mech you can find.

BattleMech: Marauder MAD-5D
Rating: 5.00
Comment: One would think the XL Engine was a bad idea, but it works wonders for the old Marauder. The weapons load on this particular variant is pure murder, something my opponents in a friendly tournament experienced first-hand :)

BattleMech: Marauder MAD-5M
Rating: 1.00
Comment: Too much short-range weapons on a slow mech. Often dead before it can hurt the opposition. It gets one point for being a Marauder...

BattleMech: Warhammer WHM-7M
Rating: 4.00
Comment: Double heat sinks is just what the WHM needs. A rookie used this ride to get all the way up to the finals in a friendly tournament, not bad considering there were several experienced warriors fighting. His luck finally ended when he met my MAD-5D, not that there was much left of my mech at the end.
